Emergency Contact

Reach out immediately when something feels urgent. You are not alone.

We understand this journey

Most of us here are miles away from home, and in many moments, fellow Bangladeshis become the closest thing to family. We know how difficult this journey can be—academics, finances, health, and loneliness can all feel overwhelming. If you think something is an emergency, never hesitate to contact someone from the community. Reaching out early is always better than waiting.

Even if you are unsure, call. We would rather pick up and support you than have you handle a crisis alone.

General Safety Guide

Keep these actions in mind for urgent situations.

If there is immediate danger, call 911 first.
Share your exact location (building, street, apartment number).
Do not stay alone if you feel unsafe—contact a trusted person immediately.
Keep emergency contacts saved and accessible on your phone.
For medical emergencies, call 911 and then notify a nearby friend/community member.
If you are helping someone, stay calm and keep communication clear and short.
